Our Family LEGOLAND Visit – Florida
I am super excited to tell all of you about our trip to LEGOLAND in Orlando, Florida! The boys had a blast and I wanted to share a few family photos with all of you. We stayed in Orlando, FL at the Extended Stay America hotel. While there, we visited Busch Gardens, Sea World, and LEGOLAND. It was a fun family vacation packed full of fun! We were up early each morning and stayed late every night. The boys, my husband, and myself were exhausted, to say the least but, it was well worth it!
With Travis having prostate cancer, we want to make memories with the boys every chance we get! LEGOLAND was kind enough to sponsor our tickets into the park for all of us. I can’t thank them enough for this wonderful gift. Our boys had a great time and will surly remember this great family vacation forever.
When we first arrived, we actually went all the way to the back of the park, to the Water Park. We had the 1 day tickers with admission into LEGOLAND and the Water Park. If you are big Water Park lovers, I might would suggested purchasing tickets for an addition day into the water park but, we did both in the same day. TIP: Get to the water park early! The water park reaches capacity quickly and you will have to wait in line for people to come out for you to enter.

I don’t have any pictures of us in the water park because my camera is not water proof. We had to rent a locker to place our bag in, along with our phones and camera. Trust me, the water park is not a place for a phone without a waterproof cover!
After we spent about two hours in the water park, we ventured back into LEGOLAND.
MINILAND was glorious! I could not image the time and effort it has taken them to build and create these displays. Each display had a sign telling you about each creation.
The kids were in awe walking through the area.
A few were out in the open to take picture with…
Next….On to the Rides
They had plenty of rides for all ages, even with the height restrictions and age restrictions on some rides. You don’t have to worry about not finding something to ride or play on. Some rides were large and exciting while others were a little calmer but, still great fun.
You could also find small play areas for the younger kids all over. There were small splash pad areas. I don’t have pictures of those but, the kids enjoyed them also.
See my little boxer above 🙂
This is me, while they rode the roller-coasters. Those rides are just not my thing. I would rather see the displays and shows.
Now, Mr Z. OMG, it was so funny! He loved the roller-coasters! You would not think a 5 year old would be such a thrill seeker however, he is! I think he would have rode even the big roller-coasters if he was allowed.
I love this picture! It has quickly become my favorite picture every! Look at his hair and his face!!
My favorite ride was The Quest For CHI Water Ride at World of Chima. Again, no pictures because it was a water ride. You WILL get wet on this ride and it is so much fun! You get to use a water gun to spray water at LEGO characters, people around the ride, and people in line for the ride. Watch out though, they can spray you back!
