Chuck E. Cheese’s Pensacola Grand Re-Opening
It’s time to revisit Chuck E. Cheese’s!!! Last week, I had the opportunity to visit the remodeled inside and out Chuck E Cheese’s in Pensacola, Flordia. They recently partnered with Tesser, a San Francisco-based design firm, to update its’ Pensacola restaurant with a focus on fresh food and fun for the whole family.
We had a great time!! The new design highlights the pizza-making process and introduces more of a restaurant atmosphere for mom and dad, while not taking away from the fun and games that have made Chuck E. Cheese’s the place where a kid can be a kid for 40 years! My husband and I were able to sit down and chill out while our boys had a blast! Of course, we could have played ourselves but, we enjoyed a little time to ourselves.
The kids and parent are stamped with an invisible number only seen under the black light they shine on your arm as you go to leave. I loved this security!
The new design has more of an ambiance with warm wood, neutral tones and streamlined graphics to create a calmer, more inviting, and friendly environment for everyone in the family. Self-service kiosks are available near the entrance of the restaurants to make ordering off the menu simple and fast for parents. We ordered a pizza plus the salad bar and sodas. It was very easy to order and they gave us a buzzer to let us know when our pizza was ready.
I have to tell you, on a personal note, the pizza was excellent!! The ingredients were fresh and we could tell the difference in flavor. It made it such an enjoyable evening to know my kids were having fun and still eating a good dinner.
The Birthday Zone features varied seating options for larger parties, with party sections designated by characters in Chuck E.’s band featuring a bold wall graphics with silhouette and character biography. The seating is so much more comfortable!! You can get in and out of the seats with ease.
Right in front of the Birthday Zone is an all-new light up dance floor where the hourly live show and birthday show will take place. Check out a video I posted ON FACEBOOK of the live show.
You’ll have to excuse my youngest son’s facial expression with Chuck E. Cheese. He has a few issues with people in costumes. He is just not sure about them. 🙂
LET ME TELL YOU MY NEW FAVORITE THING about Chuck E. Cheese!! They have a new, programmable ‘tap-to-play’ Play Pass game card system! With a DOZEN NEW GAMES that will be installed in the remodeled game rooms, you no longer need to buy tokens. Now, you buy time to play!!!! This is so very awesome! Your kid wears the wristband and can play as many games as they want in the time you purchase!
Chuck E. Cheese’s is also offering All You Can Play! All You Can Play lets parents be the hero by giving kids free reign of Chuck E. Cheese’s to play all games as many times as they want. You don’t have to tell your kids they can’t play games because you spent too much money – Now, they can play ALL THE GAMES THEY WANT and you buy by time!
Just choose an amount of time and when your time is up, you’re done. It’s that easy! Okay, say your food is ready and your kids don’t want to stop playing because they want to play games! It’s okay, if you need a break, you can pause your time up to one time at the kiosk. It’s endless games for kids starting at $9 for 30 minutes. How great is that!!!
