Vegan Steak Wrap

Who’s hungry? Who wants steak but, doesn’t want to eat meat? YOU, since you are reading this recipe for Vegan Steak Wrap! Some of you might be saying, “How is this ‘steak’ and vegan?” You might think I am crazy! hehe I’m not. I am going to use MorningStar Farms® Meal Starters® Steak Strips for this recipe.

The other half of you may be saying, “Why use MorningStar Farms® products, I’m not a vegetarian or vegan.” They are not just for vegetarians – they are for everyone! You can use them as a general healthier conscious veggie cuisine. This can be your way of keeping your New Year’s Vegolutions -get it? Keep your Resolution by incorporate vegetable into your weekly meal planning of eating better.  

This is a yummy easy as-is meal you can make for my entire family fast and still help your family stay on our healthier lifestyle journey.

Ingredients

Vegan Steak Wrap ingredients

  • MorningStar Meal Starters® Steak Strips, 13.5 oz bag
  • 1 cup Great Value™ Frozen Organic Corn
  • 1 1/2 cup Great Value™ Frozen Organic Kale
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Soft Tortilla Shells

Directions

Add 2 tablespoons water and the MorningStar Meal Starters® Steak Strips, 13.5 oz bag to a skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat for 4 minutes.

Next, add 1/4 cup water to the skillet along with corn, kale, and salsa. Cover and simmer for an additional 4 minutes.

Remove lid, allow to simmer an additional minute or until water has evaporated.

Spoon mixture onto tortilla soft shell, wrap, and enjoy!!

Ingredients
  • MorningStar Meal Starters® Steak Strips, 13.5 oz bag

  • ½ cup salsa

  • ¼ cup water
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
