Cottonelle Keeping My Family’s Bums Clean #LetsTalkBums

Cottonelle Keeping My Family's Bums Clean #LetsTalkBums

My husband and I love our bathroom! It is set up perfect with two sinks, a shower, separate tub, and a water closet. Honestly, before we bought this house, I did not know the proper name for a water closet lol. Just to let everyone know, in-case you don’t know, a water closet is a small room with a flush toilet.

Growing up I did not live in a home with a water closet, nor did I until we moved about seven years ago. Most older homes do not have water closets. I believe it has become a new trend in home designs. Lets be clear….I do love the new trend!! I can have my private time in the water closet without having to keep my husband out of the bathroom and vice versa.

Now, lets talk about that private time and being in a water closet. Yes, I am going to go there! I am just going to say it. How many of you have wet toilet paper to clean your bum? You know you have! We all have! The toilet used to be right next to the sink in most restrooms right?! Well, in a water closet there is no way to wet the toilet paper! So, what to do?! This is a good time to thank Cottonelle for sponsoring this post and keeping my family’s bums clean!

Cottonelle Keeping My Family's Bums Clean #LetsTalkBums

The solution to keeping your bum clean is Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths. I don’t feel totally fresh, clean, and confident without the wet+dry Cottonelle Care Routine. It is just like using my favorite body lotion and body scents. Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care Toilet Paper are a part of my beautiful confidence. It works so much better than toilet paper and water ever did! You can leave the water closet really fresh with the confidence you are clean any time of day.

We now stock our bathrooms with Cottonelle Clean Care TP and Flushable Cleansing Cloths. Not only do they come in handy in our water closet but, are a huge help with our youngest son! We have just potty trained him. I do believe having the flushable cleansing cloths helped to make the switch from wipes and diapers to cleaning on the toilet.

I use the wet+dry system and love it but I don’t flush the wet wipes- not even the flushable ones. It’s been on the news a few times here in Tampa recently that the flushable ones still clog pipes and are causing massive back ups in our sewage system and I refuse to be one of the reasons a plumber has to come to our apartment complex at 3 a.m. like some neighbors I might mention. LOL! But, back to the bums- the wet+dry system is totally the way to go! Love it- much cleaner feeling than dry alone!

I have never used the wet+dry system…i honestly hadn’t even heard of it until your post, so i would have to say this is very insightful and helpful post. I personally am a huge fan of baby wipes, but that mainly has to do with the fact i cant afford a bidet. Great post!

I have never understood why bidets have not become popular in the US. I guess the wet+dry system is our alternative.

What a great system!! I haven’t tried it myself. This is actually the first time I’ve heard of it. I’m generally a grab what’s on sale type of gal. This was interesting to know.

We use standard dry paper + wet bum wipes. Wet one are very handy especially for kids.

I’ve never used a wet+dry system like this before! But I can see where it would do a better job than just wetting some of the toilet paper in the sink if you needed to. Yea, I think I may need to try this.

I did not know they call it a water closet. I have a bidet I want to install but not in the current apt I am renting. Maybe I can use it next year but I look forward to it.

A bidet would be nice but most american toilets it isnt an option although you can buy a device that does it. I love cottenelle.

We always get this brand because usually everywhere you go it’s a reasonable price or it’s on sale at a very reasonable price and it’s not like paper it’s more like soft tissue.

It’s a must have at our home!! We do not flush our wet wipes either.. I just wouldn’t want to risk it with so many children at home! 🙂

I use it occasionally, but we had to stop. The kids were using them and clogging our septic system.

Only in EXTREME cases have I ever had to do the wet/dry thing..But being in a “WATER CLOSET”, having COTTENELLE Wets would be handy.

I’ve never used the wet dry system, but I have heard about it through the Cottonelle campaign. I never knew what a water closet was lol. Sometimes I use wipes but I don’t like to flush them. I feel they will still clog before they have time to break down and nobody wants a sewage burst! I still like wipes though, I just throw them away.

I always wanted to try this, but didn’t know how flushable the wipes were. I didn’t want to clog our toilet.
