Don’t Let Bladder Leakage Hold You Back from Life  #EveryMomentMatters

As many of you know, my husband has prostrate cancer. Since his surgery, he has had incontinence (bladder leakage) and may never fully recover his bladder control. However, having bladder leakage does not hold him back from his life. If you are one of the 65 million Americans affected by incontinence, you need to get back to living your life also!

Bladder leakage can diminish self-confidence and take away things people value most. You can become scared to be active in public, in fear of having an accident. This is no way to live your life! Trust me, we know! I even have my own incontinence issues after having three babies.

Depend

Using Depend FIT-FLEX Underwear has helped my husband get back the confidence to do the things he loves in life. He goes fishing with our boys, rides a kayak down the rivers, goes out to family bowling night, and enjoys laughing during friend game nights. Trust me, this was not something he was fine with overnight. He has grown to trust the Depend’s Confidence Core Technology for fast absorption in the FIT-FLEX Underwear. He has learned that the FIT-FLEX Underwear will move with him and gives him flexibility to move his body how he wants to move.

The Depend brand wants to help men and women with bladder leakage reconnect to their lives by introducing the new, improved Depend FIT-FLEX Underwear. Head on over to Depend.com to grab you a sample to try out for yourself. You can also order them on Amazon.com. Set your order up on a subscription order and never have to worry about running out.

Bladder leakage should not stop anyone from enjoying all the everyday activities you have always enjoyed in the past. Spending time with loved ones and staying active are the key to a happy life! Have the confidence to enjoy every moment of life and know that #EveryMomentMatters.

Head on over to Depend.com to see personal journeys of people who have reclaimed their lives with Depend FIT-FLEX Underwear in a series of uplifting videos.

These are nice, not like what you would think unsightly and obvious – I know people who give these as a gift to loved ones they know if they try them, they will love them!

I know a few people with bladder leakage who can’t always make to the bathroom in time and these are great to use. They don’t let it stop them.

Yes, I am there at this time of my life. My doctor has given me a detailed list of instruction exercises to strengthen my bladder muscles, but that hasn’t done much good.

Even if you’re younger and have an illness, this can be a problem. You may not need them forever but just through your illness so don’t despair if that happens to you. No need to be embarrassed buying them either I say!

I know there’s a pride factor to not wanting to wear these, but it’s silly. No one’s going to see them, while they will see your wet pants if you have an accident.

I think it’s great that there is a movement bringing bladder leakage into conversation thst isn’t embarrassing. Everyone at some point has needed or will need these products. I’m also very impressed with how far the quality of these products has come along.

My mom suffered with severe bladder leakage and was so insecure about it that she did not want to leave the house. she was on medication but even that did not give her any great amount of confidence. I did buy her Depends brand and that gave her enough security that she even got on a plane with me to visit…

I have gotten free samples from companies like Depend and Poise to kind of pre-comparison shop. When I developed this as a personal problem, I was honestly shocked. I was like, “I’m not even close to 40 or middle age yet! What did I do wrong! I thought that I was talking care of myself!” But, after talking to my doctor I learned that it is a lot more commonplace than most people think. I don’t know that it’s something I’ll ever be “used to”-since it is such a day-to-day thing. But,I’m glad we live in a more modern era where we have resources available and can be more open and honest about important medical conditions. I feel bad for previous generations, and what they must have gone through. Suffering in silence!

Thank heavens we feel more secure about talking about these embarrassing problems that get in the way of living our day-to-day lives. Bladder problems are so commonplace, particularly for women who have had children, that it really shouldn’t stop us from doing what we enjoy.

I’ve had problems for many years and when I go anywhere the first thing I look for is the location of the restrooms. A product like this allows me to enjoy finding new things to do without stressing over locating a restroom within seconds of arriving.

My grandmother had bladder issues after recovering from cancer and she was very sensitive about it. Depends is a great brand that she used if she had to go out, and she had more confidence when she was wearing them. I would like to thank you for sharing that video with us. I hope your husband continues to do well with his recovery! <3
