I posted this on one of my other sites the other day but, I have decided I want to put all the recipes on this site. So, lets start with the template for the recipe book we will put together. I was asking on Facebook earlier for a free downloadable recipe template I could use to input my own recipes then print them out at home. Well, I have not been able to find one I liked so I decided to make one for myself. Most of the ones I found where for two a page or did not allow me to edit the format I wanted.
This year one of my goals will be to provide a better variety of meals to my family. We have really gotten into a rut of eating the same meals every week! Every once in awhile we will find a menu we like, I print it out, cook it and it is wonderful. Or, we say okay we like this but, next time we think we should tweak it a little. Then, I lose the recipe or it ends up in the messy drawer full of print outs!
So I would like to become better organized with all of my recipes. Being able to have free downloadable recipe template will be a start in my long term goal to become organized!
Just thought I would share with all of you too. If you want to download just click this link: Recipe Template . It is a word document you can edit to make your own. I was also going to include a picture frame on the side to include an image but, I decided against doing that. I know it is a lot of extra work to take a picture to include but, there is room is you would like to do so.
Once I get a few of my recipes done I will post them here with a print out ready for you. Plus, I am going to put together a recipe book post also.
