Old El Paso Game Day Chicken Tacos Recipe
#GameDayFavorites #OEPGameDay
We are a #GameDayFavorites type of family! When a football game is going to be on television my kids are asking which of our favorite meals or snacks I am going to be making. One of my favorite go to meals is the Old El Paso Game Day Chicken Tacos Recipe. Super quick and easy to make! I can set it out for everyone to make their own plates. Occasionally, I will make it a more little fun by adding a few game day decorations or perhaps just your team color plates.
Gather Your Ingredients
- 2lb Chicken Strips
- Old El Paso Stand ‘n Stuff Kit Hard & Soft Dinner Kit
- Old El Paso Stand ‘n Stuff Nacho Cheese Kit
- Old El Paso Refried Beans
- Old El Paso Chopped Green Chiles
Tomatoes - Avocados from Mexico
- Lettuces
- Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
You can adjust the chicken and Old El Paso kits to how many will feed your family. The Hard and Soft Taco Kits keep everyone happy. Plus, each kit contains Taco Seasoning Mix and Taco Sauce so you can create a Mexican fiesta with ease. Don’t forget your Avocados From Mexico! They are fresh, delicious, authentic, and available year-round.
Fun Fact: Did you know avocados are so popular at parties and festivities that people across the United States enjoy more than 1.3 billion pounds of avocados per year?
I went to Publix to do my shopping for their exclusive savings on ingredients like the Old El Paso products and Avocados from Mexico.
Before you head out the door PRINT THIS $0.75 Off 1 Old El Paso Taco Boat Tortillas, Old El Paso Dinner Kits (valid Oct. 1-30,2015). Also, when you go to Publix Oct. 22nd – 28th you can save 25% off items such as seasonings, beans, and condiments (this is an in-store coupon, offered at the shelf).
Directions
Put your chicken in a skillet with about 1/2 cup water, both of the seasoning kits the two kits came with, and the Old El Paso Chopped Green Chiles. I like to put a lid on top and let it steam cook for a bit. Then, remove the lid to cook the rest of the way. Cook on low to medium heat till chicken is cooked completely.
Next, chop your tomatoes and avocados.
Prepare your soft and hard shells by following the directions on the package. Then, place it all out for everyone to grab and go! Now, everyone will have a great time watching the game!

For some reason I had never thought of tacos for game day. This looks, and sounds, good while allowing those picky eaters to omit what they don’t want! I will definitely have to try this idea! Thanks for sharing!
