Savory Mini Cheese Balls Recipe

Savory Mini Cheese Balls

The holiday season is just about over but, we still have New Years! These Savory Mini Cheese Balls from the Kraft Make Every Day Delicious campaign are super easy to put together and will surely impress your friends and family.

What You Need:

1-1/2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream cheese (12 oz.)
2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
1 tsp. poppy seeds
2 cloves garlic
fresh parsley
fresh thyme leaves
fresh rosemary
dried cranberries
PLANTERS Pecans

Head on over to the Walmart website and print the $1.00 off 1 – Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts and the $1.00 off 2 – Philadelphia Cream Cheese – Brick coupons to save a little while shopping.

Directions

Savory Cheese Balls What you Need

To start toast the sesame seeds in a toaster oven. Place on aluminum foil and toast for just about a minute until golden brown.

Toasted Sesame Seeds

Mince the garlic and divided into two equal parts. Finely chop the parsley and thyme to have 2 tsp each. Then finely chop the rosemary to have 1 tsp. You will need 1/4 cup finely chopped dried cranberries and 2 Tbsp. finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans.

Recap:
2 cloves garlic, minced, divided
2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary
1/4 cup finely chopped dried cranberries
2 Tbsp. finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Cut the cream cheese into 6 equal pieces then roll into balls.

Savory Mini Cheese Balls Ingredients

Mix ingredients into three small bowls:
Bowl One ~ Mix sesame seeds, poppy seeds and half the garlic in one small bowl.
Bowl Two ~ Mix herbs and remaining garlic in separate small bowl.
Bowl Three ~ Combine cranberries and nuts in third bowl.

Savory Mini Cheese Balls prep

Roll 2 cheese balls in sesame seed mixture, 2 cheese balls in herb mixture and remaining cheese balls in nut mixture.

    wow have to give that a try,,ive made cheese balls many times but ive always mixed the cream cheese with yogurt and then rolled it in shredded cheeses like mozza

    but i like the herbs you used ..

    thanks for a great tip on making more then one ball so they can be spread around to guests like that

    I love the colors that the Sesame seed, herb, and nut mixtures give the cheese balls. These would be perfect for setting out at Thanksgiving, or even a Christmas party platter!
