Yummy Berry Pie Recipe
If you are looking for a yummy berry pie this is it! Very easy to make and all you need is sugar, water, Wyman’s of Maine Blueberries, pie shells, and corn starch. My my mother-in-law and myself came up with this recipe one afternoon when we had extra pie shells after making other yummy treats.
Wyman’s of Maine provided the berries to facilitate this post. Over the course of many generations, the company has perfected the science of fresh freezing fruit to maintain optimum flavor and nutritional benefits so we were happy to use these great berries in our pie. You can check out all their wonderful recipes to make a wide variety of yummy healthy treats.
You will love this pie! So good!! Really any type of berries would work great in this pie. You could use the Wyman’s of Maine Mixed Berries and have an awesome pie too!

This looks so delicious. I wonder if I use a slow cooker to simmer the berries? What do you think?
Tina says
Oh yes Barbara I bet that would work. Just put it on low for a few hours.

I made a blueberry pie for Christmas day with wild NY Blueberries. I used 3/4 of organic raw sugar with 8 cups of blueberries so it was slightly sweet, still tart. It was so good, my husband and I didn’t get a slice, it went fast at the Christmas day party lol. I am going to try this recipe next for my birthday next week. Thanks for sharing!

The recipe sounds good. Especially when the berries are in season. I would have to total up and compare the cost between this and a frozen pie. Yes, I really don’t like to cook.

This is just the kind of recipe I like – it’s quick and simple, but it looks like it took a long time to make, so when people eat it and love it, they think you’re a great baker :). I’m saving this and will be making it as soon as I go to the store for blueberries.
