Purrfect Pet Stocking – A decorative DIY Pet Stocking
People’s pets are not just ‘pets’ anymore. They are wonderful additions to our family. Don’t forget them this holiday season. Even my boys will ask me each year, “What did Santa bring our pets?” Like Purina, we believe living is bigger when pets are involved. Our pets enrich our lives in multiple ways, and we’re the better for it.
With that spirit in mind, Purina has teamed up with Target this holiday season to make it easier than ever to truly treat your pet. You can grab a high-value in-store text coupon offer to save $10 off any $40 purchase of Purina products! Yeah! No Purina products are excluded, so fill up your cart! I did 🙂 hehe. Saving money on the Purina products allowed me to grab a few extra items to fill their stockings!
Starting the week of December 4, 2016, text PETS10 to 827438 to access a special high-value Target exclusive coupon to save $10 off a $40 purchase of Purina products. Thanks to the great savings of this exclusive high-value Target text coupon offer, you can stock up on your pet’s favorite Purina products and treat your pet this holiday season. In the spirit of also saving time this holiday season, I am going to share with you how to make a DIY cute Purrfect Pet Stocking! This is very simple and you will be ready for the holiday in no time!
What You Need
- Purina Foods & Treats
- A Few Pet Toys
- Felt Stockings
- Felt Glue
- Felt Sheets in Holiday Colors
- Decorative Holiday Crafts
Head out to Target after you claim your high-value text offer and stock up on Purina products. While you are there purchase the rest of the items you need to make and fill your Purrfect Pet Stockings. I like buying the Purina products because they are more than just food. They offer unique product ranges of foods and treats in a wide range of flavors, recipes, and blends. You can truly treat your pet with something they love!
Cut out your cats initials or their whole names, whichever you like. I took a pen and outlined just their first initials for each stocking. Remember to draw if backward so that the ink does not show.
Next, glue each letter onto the stockings.
For our dog’s stocking, I added decorative hanging ornaments, a dog cut out, and a paw. For the paw, I cut out a somewhat heart shape and then used pom-poms.
For the cat’s stockings, I use pom-poms and kept it simple. Make sure to go upwards for the cat paw prints and down for the dogs.
Wait till they dry and stuff them full of treats for Christmas! Your pets will love them and the treats inside!
Make sure your pets enjoy all the holiday treats and fun also! Check out all the animal products at Target!
Before I go, I wanted to show you all this! My cats could not wait to get to their treats!! I had to open a bag for them to enjoy now!
