Veal, Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Flat Bread Recipe #MyTuscanTable

Life can be chaotic so anytime I get to spend with my family enjoying a wonderful fresh meal is a great day. You should stop and smell the roses and celebrate little victories in everyday life. I am going to share with you my Veal, Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Flat Bread Recipe so you might can sit with your family and enjoy a relaxing meal together.

I will be using Bertolli ingredients in my recipe and wanted to share with all of you a little information about their company.

It’s been more than 150 years since Francesco Bertolli began selling his olive oil in the small town of Lucca, Italy. In 1865, Francesco opened a small storefront business selling regional foods such as olive oil, wine, cheese and olives. In the late 1800s, Italian immigrants in America, unable to find the products to which they were accustomed, wrote to Bertolli asking for crates of olive oil. In reply, Bertolli sent orders to America and thus became the first exporter of olive oil. From its beginnings in olive oil, Bertolli today has grown to also include a broad range of Italian-inspired pasta sauce and skillet meals. Today, more than 150 years since Francesco Bertolli began selling his olive oil in Lucca, Italy, the original “Villa Bertolli” at piazza S. Donato still stands – just as Bertolli remains at the heart of the Italian-inspired cuisine enjoyed at home by millions of families around the world.

Bertolli want everyone to join them in celebrating 150 years of delicious food, friends and family. Felice Anniversario and Buono Appetito!

No Kid Hungry Campaign

In honor of their celebration Bertolli has partnered with the No Kid Hungry Campaign. For each photo shared via social media using #MyTuscanTable throughout October, Bertolli® will make a $1 donation to help end childhood hunger in America through a partnership with No Kid Hungry. With each dollar, No Kid Hungry will provide 10 healthy meals to kids in need, up to a half a million meals. No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger in America by ensuring kids have the healthy food they need, every day. The Bertolli® brand is proud to lend its passion for uniting people over food to help connect kids struggling with hunger to the nutritious meals they need to grow and thrive.

Now for my recipe….

Veal, Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Flat Bread Recipe #MyTuscanTable

Gather The Ingredients

  • Artichoke hearts
  • Flat Bread
  • Bertolli Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Sauce
  • Veal ~ about 1 lb
  • Shaved parmigiana cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh Mushrooms
  • Fresh parsley
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh baby spinach
  • Red bell pepper
  • Green Bell pepper
  • Bertolli Olive Oil

Directions

First you need to pan sear the veal. Place a little Bertolli Olive Oil in your skillet and sear on each side about two or three minutes. Set aside and let cool.

Veal, Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Flat Bread Recipe #MyTuscanTable

Pre-heat your oven to 400°F. While that is cooling chop and or slice the mushrooms, parsley, basil, and bell peppers. Then your veal should also be cool enough to chop. Now, apply a thin coat of Bertolli Olive Oil to your flat bread and place on a foil covered cookie sheet.

Now to Assemble

Veal, Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Flat Bread Recipe
Put a layer of Bertolli Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Sauce. Next, apply all your toppings. I did not include how much of each ingredient on purpose. Some like more of some ingredients than others. Use as much as you and your family would like. Pile it on if you want to!

Bake for about 20 minutes and serve with a side of Bertolli Asiago Cheese & Artichokes Sauce topped with the shaved parmigiana cheese for dipping.

This looks so yummy. I dearly wish I was a better cook. The big thing around my house is “it’s not done until it’s burnt” lol! My poor family.

This does look like something I would be willing to try to cook though.

We live by my husband’s side of the family and they cook really well there are always new dinners to make. Everyone loves pizza but we get bored of the same thing plus with my family having a higher class palette this pizza would be the perfect meal to make for our family to enjoy together.
